In Arkansas, about 60 percent of children have experienced at least one Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE). The national average is 45 percent. A child’s brain is 90% fully formed by the age of five. We need to have an early childhood workforce who is equipped with the latest research, strategies and skills to help children where they are in their developmental journey right now. Please support AECA to continue sharing the tools that early childhood educators, families and children can use to create a positive IMPACT on Adverse Childhood Experiences.
Your donation supports the development of educators in Arkansas as the generation that will provide high-quality care and education for children and their families statewide. When we invest in early childhood professionals, we can show up for others and create the IMPACT that children and families across Arkansas need.
Your gift to AECA provides educators in Arkansas the resources and tools they need to help the children and families they serve. It also helps us to help educators themselves, with programs like TEACH and our annual conference. The more they know, the more they can help our youngest generation – creating a ripple effect of IMPACT.
